If you are feeling suicidal, have seriously harmed yourself or you are at risk of doing so seek urgent medical help now
This is a mental health emergency – please get help now:
Call 999 for an ambulance
Go to your nearest hospital’s accident and emergency department
Call your crisis team if you are already supported by a mental health service
If you can’t do this on own contact someone to help you.

The Samaritans are open 24 hours a day 365 days call 116 123 for quickest response or use the link for other ways to get in touch
The Mix offers support for under 25s including text contact to their crisis messenger available 24 hours a day 7 days a week – text THEMIX to 85258 . Helplines and live messaging services are available 4pm – 11pm. See here for more information about the range of services on offer
The MIND and Youngminds websites also have a range of support suggestions to call, text and email – remember to check that the service you are going to contact is available

Follow the advice you have been given by your TYA clinical team to:
Contact your team or the out of hours number at the hospital they have given you
Go to accident and emergency department at your local hospital
Contact your GP for an emergency appointment
